AquaPro CarbonActive+ is premium-grade granular activated carbon. It overcomes impurities, coloring chemicals, producing water turbidity in water and considerably improving its clarity. It also eliminates drug residues and chemicals that have accumulated in the water. AquaPro CarbonActive+ is activated by steam, unlike other phosphorus acid-activated media on the market, and so contains no phosphate. The product successfully removes all toxic compounds produced by corals’ “chemical war,” making it ideal for mixed-reef aquariums. It’s also ideal for ULNS aquariums that are heavily loaded with SPS corals.

Directions:

Use 100gr per 100L of water. AquaPro CarbonActive+ can be used both in the fluidized filter and in the filter mesh. Before using AquaPro CarbonActive+, we recommend rinsing it with RODI water. The ideal water flow rate is 500 liters per hour. Every four weeks, carbon should be replaced.
